Horrid Hot Dog is a mucky hot dog with mustard. He has large eyes and is dripping mustard from his mouth.

- Horrid Hot Dog resembles Grott Dog, a Trashie from Series 1 of the Trash Pack. He also resembles Frank Furter, a Season 1 Shopkin.
- He shares his name with the Horrid Hot Dog Machine, a playset from Series 2. Ironically, he is not contained in that playset.
- His figure and catalog art portrays the mustard dripping from his mouth as slime instead.
- Like Mushy Slushy, he is a Series 1 Grossery with a Series 2 exclusive variant.
- He shares his name with a Series 2 Grossery. However, they appear to be separate characters.
